When you have boys...

You also have blood and bills. As in medical bills.  The following pictures will explain:
  Is this picture gross? Yes. But it must be shown for the sake of women who may be reading this and in the first stages of motherhood, wondering what in they're in store for raising boys...(yes, that includes husbands as well)
Jackson when he fell on some big ol' rocks.

Ryan when he decided to do a back flip while skiing, dislocating his shoulder. Was attempting a back flip on skis the smartest idea knowing that you have a wife and three small children at home? No. Since that little episode, we have increased our life insurance policy should he get any more bright ideas to barrel himself down the mountain or any other terrain for that matter. (Although, I will say that the fact Ryan even attempted a back flip while skiing was kind of sexy).

Logan after he fractured his wrist after a fall on the slip and slide. 

Jackson with his cast after he tripped on a blade of grass.  We are now on his third cast which will be total of three months that he has been in one. 

Logan tonight, after his cousin Tua accidentally hit him in the face with a tennis racquet. Who knew tennis could be a contact sport? He had to get three stitches in his upper lip.  I thought the stuff on his face by his lip was blood, turns out it was just a little chocolate...

Now it's just a waiting game.  Waiting for the next injury, the next bill to arrive, Jackson's cast to come off. They say scars make for good stories and this rate, my boys will have a lot of stories to tell...
