If you don't, you should get some today.
Let me explain. Four times a year for four days each time, the Holy Cow Boutique rolls into town and with it comes a local family that sets up a cinnamon roll shop known as, Big Buns. I think these cinnamon rolls are super delicious, and I'm sure there are better ones out there. But the fact that I can only buy them four times a year makes them taste even more delicious. The saying, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" totally applies in this case.

Let me break down your next visit to the Holy Cow:

Let me break down your next visit to the Holy Cow:
After about fifteen minutes of perusing the boutique, you'll smell the sweet aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls floating through the air and think to yourself, "Follow your nose." So you'll follow it and end up in the back of the building ordering not one, but two, possibly three Big Buns cinnamon rolls. At $2.50 a pop, they're not the cheapest treat in town so stash away a twenty dollar bill for your next few visits and you'll be good (they also come in raspberry and orange). After they've bagged your roll, you'll head out the door to PG Park to let your kids play. Invite a friend. Because somehow the taste of a warm, melt-in-your mouth cinnamon roll relaxes your senses and before you know it, you'll be giving out juicy details about anything and everything as will she. It will be a chat fest like no other. In between bites, the kids will come up and ask for a taste. Your answer? Not only no. But he** no. Mama doesn't share a cinnamon roll of this magnitude. You do enough for them as it is and letting them play at the park is their treat.
My friends Sunny and Marianne joined me at the park on the first day of Big Buns
four day run at the Holy Cow.
I'm sorry if that's harsh, but that's reality and if you don't like it or don't think you can say no, then don't get a Big Bun. Take some wipes. Not for the kids, but for you. Because after you've licked your fingers and possibly the sack the roll came in clean, you're going to need some. You'll drive home in some sort of Big Bun euphoria with one in your tummy, and two resting comfortably on the passenger seat next to you. Wrap them up tight and after the kids are in bed, warm them up in the microwave for about 20 seconds and start the experience all over again. Here's the dilemma. Do you share with your hubby or not? Any good wife would answer yes. But there's a strategy to this selfishness and here it is...you don't want him thinking that Big Buns may have contributed to your big buns and with making a Big Bun run four days in a row, it's highly likely that kind of expansion could happen. It's up to you to decide if you're going to share or not, but I'm just saying...they don't call them Big Buns for nothin'.
There's more to this Big Buns story that I'll share tomorrow,(I know what you're thinking, how could there possibly more written about a cinnamon roll, but there is). Right now though, I've gotta make a Big Bun Raspberry Roll Run for me and the honey to share tonight.
