In one month from today...

I am taking the first step in my adventure as a city councilman (woman, person, whatever you want to call me).  The past few months of campaigning were fun, interesting and scary and I'm ready to start the new job!  Ryan and the kids were a huge support during the campaign.  From holding signs on the street corner to coming to the debates, they were awesome!

I roped in a couple of neighbor kids, my newphew and our own kidlets who braved the cold on election night to remind people to vote.

Am I wondering what I'm doing?  Sure.  Asking myself how I got here?  You bet.  But, I think I'm ready.
