It seemed simple enough.
Bake a mean batch of cookies and watch the snow fly on a lazy Sunday afternoon. The problem was, no baking was involved. Only the mixing of a few ingredients for some so-called, No Bake Cookies.
I don't know where things went wrong. Buy they did and I'm talking terribly wrong. Instead of warm and gooey, I got hard and flakey.
For the sweet love, how do you mess up No Bake Cookies? Here's what I've decided. When I cook, it's either really good or really bad. There's no inbetween.
Don't they look delicious?
Okay, so maybe flakey was an understatement.
In my defense, I did make two other desserts this weekend that rocked. So two outta three successes ain't bad. But I should have ended at two while I was ahead and I think my family would agree.
